Description
The Great Freshwater Angling Manual was written by a veteran who kept in mind that he had to cater for the beginner as well. so that the first section of the manual is filled with useful information about fishing gear and its uses. Hints and suggestions about fishing in general have not been left out.
Mainly, however. the manual is aimed at introducing the TEN most important fish are discussed in length including full descriptions, where they can be found and hints on the best bait to be used – whether artificial or not.
The last section was written by professor Ben Engelbrecht, an expert in artificial bait for angling purposes.
Finally some hints on preparation of freshwater fish are supplied. Photographs (colour and black and white) and illustrations and diagrams can be found in abundance to explain the text.
This manual is the only comprehensive work of this kind in South Africa and every freshwater angler should have a copy in his bookshelf!
